What it is about

PRICE $1d6 €-;= roll 1d6 and pay that many dollars, or you can pay more than $6 if you want... Run Shadow in the Dark a rules-extra-crispy cyberpunk/fantasy table-based roll-playing and drawing^2 game for 1 to 1d6 players Run Shadow in the Dark is a cyberpunk+magic OSR style game based on One Shot in the Dark; the rules-ultra-light fantasy OSR-style, GM-less system by Tale of the Manticore. In this corporate dystopia where magic meets humanity and technology, you will create your team of shadowpunks. These are mercenaries and covert-ops types, magic users, computer deckers, drivers and drone operators, and smooth talkers, who will pull off a heist through three stages of play; from Prepwork to The Heist and into the action-packed Getaway. In the Awokened world, shadowpunks may be humans, elves, orks, trolls or dwarves. They may conjure spirits or cast spells! Fight with automatic weapons and cybernetics! Use their skills! And if all else fails, bribe their way out of trouble. Draw cards, consult tables, sketch drawings, and roll dice in this a heart-pumping game of rapid-fire dice rolling set in a late nineteen-hundreds vision of a mid-21st century dystopia mashed-up with magical fantasy. The three stages can be played all at once, or used for a series of sessions. The whole thing takes about the same time as watching a movie. The game can really swing, so this might be a made-for-tv holiday special or the director's cut of the the Lord of the Rings, but yeah, I'll just say, "a movie." Go solo or play with friends. All you need are these simple rules, a complete deck of playing cards, pencil, paper and as many six-sided dice as you can scrounge up. Have fun, Shadowpunk!
