What it is about

You are alone. You are the last surviving technician aboard Hadal-7, a deep-sea research station 11,000 meters below the surface of the Pacific Ocean. Three days ago, your crew stopped responding. You don't know why. You don't know where they went. You only know that something in the dark water outside the station windows has been watching you — and last night, it knocked. The Last Signal is a solo journaling RPG of psychological horror. Draw cards, roll dice, and write your story as your sanity slowly unravels. No game master needed. No experience required. Just you, a journal, a deck of cards, and the dark. What you need to play: A standard deck of cards, one six-sided die, a journal, a pen, and 60–90 minutes of uninterrupted time. What this game does differently: As your sanity decreases, the way you write changes. By the final entries, something else may be helping you hold the pen. The station has six sections, 52 unique card events, a full sanity system, and four different endings depending on how your final hour unfolds. This game was created at 2am when the idea of being completely alone at the bottom of the ocean — with something outside the window — wouldn't leave my mind. I hope it unsettles you the way it unsettled me. Content warning: Psychological horror, isolation, themes of dissociation and unreliable memory. Recommended for ages 16+.
