Create your café keeper, choose a familiar and spend three story days getting to know nine customers. Prepare their drinks, draw playing cards to discover what the magic does, and make choices with follow-ups later in the story. Your journal becomes a record of the conversations, curious mishaps and relationships you imagine along the way. ✦ A LITTLE STORY WITH ROOM FOR YOUR IMAGINATION Each customer arrives with a situation to explore. Guided choices help you move through the adventure, while writing prompts invite you to invent dialogue, describe magical details and develop your keeper’s own voice. Write a few sentences or linger over a longer scene. Decide what your keeper says, what they notice and which moments they remember after closing. ✦ OPTIONAL ROMANCE Explore a connection with Iona, Rowan or Vesper through optional meetings, card-driven events and relationship follow-ups. Choose friendship, pursue a date, take more time or decline another meeting. Your keeper decides where the connection goes. The included romance is gentle and non-explicit. ✦ MAKE YOUR KEEPER AND CAFÉ YOUR OWN Build a paper character using illustrated faces, hairstyles, outfits and magical hats. Choose a frog, cat, owl or dragon familiar to keep them company. Decorate your café floor and apothecary shelves with printable furniture, potion bottles, ingredients and curious objects. Record your fictional drinks on six illustrated recipe cards. Prefer to begin with everything ready? Choose a ready-made keeper portrait and furnished café scene.
