What it is about
A deck runner calling on a yokai must do so with care as their personalities can vary greatly, from harmless to helpful to mischievous to malicious. Removing the presence of a yokai once called requires complicated rituals that are difficult if not impossible for a beginner deck runner. And while Not all yokai answer when called, some may answer for another, leading to disaster. Blessed are the deck runners. Good luck. Deck Runner's Guide to Yokai is an unauthorized supplement to Wreck This Deck by Becky Annison and Black Armada Games ( itch page ). Featuring classic artwork and 51 yokai, this booklet is a must have for any Deck Runner starting to dabble in Japanese folklore and spiritual history. Supplement may also be used for any system needing a list of yokai to play around with. Available in three PDFs: single page, spread, or text. Also available:
