For as long as society has existed so too have there been tales of wayward spirits appearing in this world from somewhere beyond, capturing the imagination and sparking the curiosity of countless generations. What are they? Where do they come from? Why are they here? And most importantly: Can we fuck them? Penetrating the Veil is a game that explores these questions… but mainly just the last one. Penetrating the Veil is a solo journaling game that lets you experience the excitement of a paranormal “encounter” through the power of guided writing, using an attribute and dice based system that leads you through a branching series of journaling prompts for documenting your ecto-rotic adventure. Featuring three different story paths and a whole mess of tables for more possible adventures than you could reasonably want.
