What it is about
都市伝説部 (Urban Legend Club) is a game on solving the urban mysteries in the world around you. In Japan, urban legends range from mysterious and paranomral beings to widespread rumors within a particular society. In this game, you belong to a club adamant on solving these mysteries to reveal the truths of your world. Through a structured system utilizing a deck of cards, you will simulate mysteries, the clues that lead you to the resolution, as well as twists and turns that change the outcome of your investigation in various ways. This game can be played solo or with friends, with all prompts randomly generated to allow for GM-less play. The game includes a PDF of the entire game that can be played with a single sheet of paper. The sheet itself includes extra content if printed double-sided, but is entirely playable on a single sheet. What you need to play Pencil and paper (digital or analog) A deck of cards (excluding jokers) This game was created as part of the One-Page RPG Jam 2022 game jam.
