What it is about
The Chasen: Guider of Souls is primarily a solo storytelling game about crafting tales of life, death, and the unknown, using tarot cards and their meanings to create the narrative of who the Soul is, what their life was like, and what they need as they depart into the thereafter. However, not all Souls fully complete the journey into the afterlife. Instead, some become Lost Souls, unable to fully reside in the next realm as something has hindered them from making a complete transition, leaving them doomed to remain in the void between realms for an untold time. If you’ve guided a Lost Soul, you will make one last attempt to resolve some or all of “The Hindrances” that may be preventing the Soul from fully crossing over into the afterlife. However, having the resources to uncover and resolve what's hindered the Soul may pose a formidable challenge.
