Romantasy Klondike

Romantasy Klondike is a solo journalling game about telling tales of romantic fantasy, inspired by the work of Grey Alien Games and especially Regency Solitaire. Each spread of Klondike Solitaire will set a scene, and as you assign cards to people, places and things, a story will unfold. Successful games become your main character's triumphs, while lost games represent their failures. And if you need to, you can always use their special powers to tip the story in their favour. With a variety of tools to produce either a light-hearted cosy romance or a grand fantasy epic, Romantasy Klondike invites you to play in the space of romantic fantasy, and follow your main character all the way to their happy ending. Made with earnest love for romantasy novels, and an equally earnest love of big tables, this game was designed for the One Page RPG Jam 2026.
