What it is about
You are an artist during the medieval ages and word has reached Captain* Larkin of your talents. They have approached you with a project to apply your skills to, if you would be so willing. But of course you would be willing, so silly of the Captain to think you might not be. After all, it is going to be a Most Wondrous Book of Birds, and who better to illustrate it than your fine self? They have provided you with all the descriptions you could require and will leave you in peace to work on the masterpiece. It sounds like it should be an easy enough job, until you read the first description. It quickly becomes apparent that our dear Captain Larkin may have been mildly inebriated while recording their sightings. There is little else for you to do but attempt to decipher and imagine these creatures to the best of your ability before they return. * not a real Captain, but few dare to challenge this ----------------------------------------------- This is a simple roll-and-draw game for one or more people. Included are lists of descriptions of features to roll a six-sided dice on to draw from, or you can create your own - the more ridiculous the better! The aim of the game is simply to draw some bizarre medieval style birds, the sort you might expect to see in an illustrated manuscript. ----------------------------------------------- 100% Human Made Page border decorations by Alderdoodle Fonts and textures by Aesoterik A Brazilian Portuguese translation is now available with many thanks to Letícia Amboni
