What it is about
The uprising failed, the king is still alive, and many of your comrades died under the knight's blades. Now, the knights are chasing you, their former sword brethren turned traitor, through the forest, and wounded as you are you know that you won't outrun them. Yet there's still one thing you can do: win time for the rebels to flee, and likely — as knights do — die by the sword you lived by. Features Created for the One Page RPG Jam 2026 , Here I lie, with you all dead at my feet,... is a short solo RPG in the form of an A4-sized trifold pamphlet in which you play the role of a rebel knight, member of a failed uprising, luring the king's knights deep in the forest to help your comrades to flee. Doing so, you'll recreate fragments of the knight's memories and motivations before, in a violent climax, meeting your demise. To play, you'll need the rules and the table (i.e., the pamphlet), a token and 16 six-sided dices. If you don't have so many dices, the annex, containing 3 pre-made paths, can be used instead. The rules are available in both English and French .
