What it is about

A killer is stalking the City's unhoused community, and the body count is rising. The authorities are more than happy to ignore the case, so you have taken it upon yourself to find the killer.  In this solo journaling game, you will visit encampments and shelters talking to people who've seen more than they're letting on. Time is against you. Find the killer, before they strike again. While reading a great novel called The Kingdoms of Savannah by George Dawes Green, I learned something that was probably obvious to me all along: unhoused encampments take on identities of their own, and any major city holds several distinct camps. This novel, paired with reading Exeunt Press' zine Make Your Own One-Page Roleplaying Game , helped guide the creation of No One Came Looking . I wanted a fun murder mystery set against the very real backdrop of our unseen neighbors. My hope is that after playing and reflecting on this topic, you might come out the other side seeing unhoused citizens as the individuals they are. This is the first game I've made using Exeunt Press' tools, created for the 2026 One-Page RPG Jam. I hope you like it.
