THE BUNKER

The year is 2084. The world above is collapsing. The billionaires who sold it have retreated to their final stronghold: sprawling, fortified bunkers buried miles beneath the ruins. Behind walls of steel and armies of loyal guards, they wait out the apocalypse they helped create. You are one of the few who found a way in. The bunker is dark. The odds are against you but you are still breathing. Keep fighting. The bottom of the deck is waiting. THE BUNKER is a solo card game using a standard 54-card deck. The deck itself is your enemy- number cards (2-10) are the guards and soldiers that fill the corridors, with Aces as support drones that hover above and disrupt your tactics. It combines satisfying combos as well as a proximity combat system. Black cards are close-range enemies that can only attack when they're next to you. Red cards are ranged enemies that can attack from any position. Three enemies occupy the corridor in front of you at all times: Front, Middle, and Back. The closer they are, the more dangerous they become. When you kill an enemy, they go to your Arsenal- a stack of defeated foes that becomes your greatest weapon. Here, adjacent cards of the same suit (or color, or number) can be triggered as combos, unleashing powerful effects: healing, permanent damage boosts, or even double damage. The order you kill enemies matters since each new kill sits on top, so plan carefully to set up your combos. At the very bottom of the deck, buried beneath the guards and drones, you'll find the ruling class themselves: the Jacks (personal bodyguards), the Queens (trusted advisors), and finally the Kings: the billionaires. Fat, comfortable, and utterly dependent on the walls and guns that protect them. Kill all four Kings, and you win.
