What it is about

SHORT DESCRIPTION A compact solo print-and-play card game of desperate missions, hostile worlds, brutal encounters, and hard-won survival in a grimdark science-fiction galaxy. FULL DESCRIPTION You are a Galactic Officer tasked with purging a threatened subsector one dangerous mission at a time. Your objective is simple: complete a Mission or amass 100 Credits before your enemies reduce your HP to zero. Galaxy of One is a solo print-and-play adventure game driven entirely by a single six-sided die. Build a route of six face-down Zone cards, travel into the unknown, Search for encounters, battle hostile forces, survive traps, and Extract when a fight becomes too dangerous. Spend recovered Credits at the Emporium on Stims, tools, armor, and weapons that may keep you alive long enough to retire. The galaxy contains five major threats: Corruption: Cultists, warped machinery, plague creatures, and reality-bending horrors. Gobs: Violent raiders, ramshackle war machines, and heavily armed scrap bosses. Humanity: Mutineers, criminal forces, rogue officers, and oppressive military powers. The Swarm: Ravenous organisms that consume ships, settlements, and entire worlds. The Kruptz: Ancient mechanical beings awakened from a forgotten time. The deck includes 25 normal Zones and 5 deadly Boss Zones. Every Zone has its own Mission, encounter table, rewards, dangers, and tactical complications. Optional rules can turn a single expedition into a longer campaign or make the Emporium more dangerous. FEATURES Solo print-and-play gameplay. Uses one standard d6, the cards, and a pen/pencil. 30 Zone cards, including 5 Boss Zones. Mission-based and Credits-based victory conditions. Traps, extraction rolls, item drops, permanent Max HP loss, and varied enemy difficulty. An 18-item Emporium containing stims, tools, armor, and weapons. Optional campaign and challenge rules. Background lore for all five major factions (not a lot, but gives you the gist of things). Standard illustrated and low-ink Ink Saver card editions. Duplex print card sheets, duplex print score cards, and printable rules references. AI ARTWORK DISCLOSURE Galaxy of One contains artwork created with or assisted by generative artificial intelligence. AI-generated imagery was directed, selected, edited, and assembled for this game by Healsfire Entertainment.
