What it is about

PLAYTESTERS WANTED Wicked Ink is currently in development, and your feedback can help improve the game. Play the game and let me know how it goes. Feedback on difficulty, balance, Abilities, rules clarity, and anything that felt especially fun or frustrating will help shape future versions of the game. Dark magic binds the wicked to this place. Defeat all of them in a single run, or the fallen will rise again. Wicked Ink is a solo dungeon-crawling roguelite card game played with a standard 54-card deck and just 12 print-and-play cards. Enter the Dungeon as the Hunter and attempt to defeat all twelve Enemies in a single run. Your hand of Action cards is your limited supply of movement, attacks, and tactical options. Move around the Dungeon, get into position for Melee Attacks, line up Ranged Attacks from a distance, and decide carefully when and where to spend each card. Every card can solve multiple problems, but once you use it, it’s gone. Enemies must be defeated in order, Jacks → Queens → Kings , growing stronger with each rank. To defeat an Enemy, combine Action cards to overcome its Defense, but beware: Enemies are immune to cards matching their suit. At first, the odds are stacked against you. Dungeon Abilities make the Dungeon more dangerous, while your Hunter Abilities have yet to be unlocked. When you're forced to retreat, every Enemy you defeated earns Experience that carries your campaign forward. Spend Experience to permanently disable Dungeon Abilities and to unlock Hunter Abilities. Each run makes you better equipped to push deeper into the Dungeon, until you can finally defeat all twelve Enemies in a single run. But that victory reveals the source of the Dungeon’s dark magic. Wicked Difficulty introduces the Deckromancer, a Dark Lord who must be banished to complete the campaign.
