What it is about
A Game About Being A Tree is a game where you pretend to be a tree. Trees are governed by three primary axioms. 1. Trees taste their surroundings. 2. Trees always know when they are going to die. 3. Trees have a lot of time to think. You can print it into a pamphlet on one double-sided sheet of letter-sized paper if you want. You could interpret it into a sort of curry or use it to generate backstories for trees in your elfgames. A Game About Being A Tree is licensed CC-BY-SA 4.0, but I don't care what you do with it. A Game About Being A Tree was made for a private Discord server's annual two-week game jam, with the theme of "Rooted".
