PLAGUE CROWN is a solo biopunk body-horror print-and-play strategy game about spatial pressure, irreversible mutation, resource management, and an organism attempting to complete itself across hostile anatomy. You are a CORONAL DYSCRASM — a living form that cannot finish becoming itself inside its original boundary. Your anatomy must spread outward into the SUBSTRATE, Portion by Portion. But the Substrate does not remain passive. Every intrusion leaves INSCRIPTION. Every Inscription becomes CICATRIX. Every scar permanently reduces the space in which you can still exist. Spread. Revert. Transfer. Survive. Move what remains of yourself between your INTERNAL OFFICES. Extend your Portions into foreign territory. Abandon parts of your body when there is no longer room to bring them home. Decide what must remain internal, what can be sacrificed, and what must be forced deeper into the Substrate. The board becomes progressively less forgiving as viable space disappears. Nothing resets. Damage is geography. The organism you begin with will not be the organism that reaches the end. Your objective is the CROWN: complete the distributed anatomy before accumulated scarring, failed positioning, and the hostile Substrate make completion impossible.
