What it is about

The citadel fell. Something remained. Beneath Caelshold lies VAR'HALEKH , a Fellborne titan of bone, sinew and madness. The citadel has become part of it. Its halls shift. Its dead still have something to say. You enter as a lone Wanderer, searching for three Fellborne Scrolls. Take them from the Wardens, find your way into the Core, and face what waits there. Antisanctum of Var’halekh is a standalone solo tabletop RPG set in the world of Elios, inspired by Dark Fort. With two six-sided dice, a pencil and the play sheet, you build the dungeon as you explore it. Rooms bring horrors, abandoned belongings, strange shrines and occasional shelter. You choose where to go, when to burn your torch, and what you can afford to lose. Light keeps some dangers at bay. It also draws attention. As your Echo rises, the descent becomes harder. Rituals offer help at a price, and the Scrolls you came for may cost more than you have left. Inside the second edition A complete 24-page illustrated rulebook. Rules for exploration, mapping and Duels. Weapons, Rituals, votives and the people who came before you. Three difficulty settings. Optional rules for two Wanderers. A play sheet, dungeon map and quick reference. No game master or other rulebook is needed. Choose your copy A5 Rulebook — the complete game in reading order, suitable for viewing on a screen. A4 Print Booklet — the same rulebook arranged for printing and assembling as an A5 booklet. A4 Play Sheets — your Wanderer sheet and dungeon map, with additional sheets for two-player games. Includes both rulebook formats and the illustrated play sheets. Playtest edition. Feedback on the rules and game mechanics is very welcome. Leave a comment below and let me know how your descent went. Thank you to J.P & J.E for playtesting. Contains body horror, death and loss of identity.
