What it is about

The Skinny: If you don't know much about science fiction, this article will help you get your feet wet with ideas and descriptions based on today's real-world science. The Bacon: 12 pages of real-world space science as it is today. There are some heavy concepts, and some space-related math, but I kept that to a minimum and tried to explain everything in a way most people would understand. Here's the official description: This supplement contains plausible elements to develop a grounded, science-based scenario for characters traveling into space and setting up off-world space colonies. The best sci-fi stories have good, solid foundations to them. Once you have that, you can jump off the springboard of your imagination and dive into wherever your story takes. In this case, it will be to the stars and beyound. Includes the following subjects: * types of interstellar ships * types of interstellar propulsion * interstellar highways * propulsion notes * advantages of space habitats * space habitat necessities * types of rotating habitatis * lunar bases * space colonies * dead aliens * improbability issues
