What it is about
The Horrific Encounter Generator is a quick way to ratchet up the tension in your 5e game, by injecting a pulse-quickening situation into your adventure or campaign that's just right for the spookiest time of the year (or, to be honest, any time you want your party to suffer!)
With tables for the location, the traumatic situation your adventurers will face, and the monsters they will come up against, there's replayability in this simple handout that can throw an intimidating curveball into your game.
