What it is about

Do your player characters have characters that try to oppose, stop, or hinder them? The antagonist characters help bring conflict to help make your player's adventures more difficult, challenging, interesting, and memorable. Why focus on antagonists and villains? The answer depends on the type of game that a player is playing. For those who don't care about narrative characters, foes, enemies, nor opponents, then this book may not be for you. However, for GMs that want different antagonists to challenge and conflict with your players, then this book may be for you. And, for GMs that want more types of supporting characters in addition to antagonists, the related book Building a Cast of Supporting Characters for RPG Gamemasters may also be for you. This is a guide book that is meant to aid a Gamemaster (GM) or solo game player in making creative content. It's meant to help give useful tips, make aware challenges, and inspirational ideas. Its generic enough for any genre.
