600 Meetings in a City

Spellbook Games is proud to release a new Game's Master aid, '600 Meetings in a City.' '600 Meetings' provides a wide variety of encounters in an urban setting, from large villages to very large citieis. adding flavor and interest to an otherwise undescribed game environment. The encounters are not necessarily designed to end in combat, although some could. Some encounters are designed to test an Adventurer's sence of decency and morailty rather than their prowess with weapons. These encountes can be a good way to introduce differents kinds of challenges, as well as new information, rumors, NPC's, persons and organizations, quest paths, and perhaps some misdirection. This game aid is divided into three sections, Meeting in the Street, Meetins in Taverns and Restaurants, and Meetings in Shops. Bonus material includes 100 kernels for city festivals and celebrations, and name tables for Major Streets, Minor Streets, Alleys, Bridges, Gates, Squares and Plazas, and Taverns, each with 160 random names. Although there is very little system-specific information in '600 Meetings' it does make reference to Spellbook Games' RPG system, Portal to Adventure.
