Hygge Holiday: A Solo Journaling RPG Welcome home! Hygge Holiday is a solo journaling RPG set in a cozy small village in a Nordic country. You’ve travelled home for an extended winter holiday, with lots of vacation time.  Winter is a time to slow down and focus on simple pleasures and good company. Luckily, the Nordic countries offer free health care and university education, on top of many weeks of paid holiday per year, and generous unemployment benefits--meaning less worry, stress and uncertainty, and more time for enjoying the simple pleasures in life. How will you spend your time, and with whom? You’ve decided to start a journal about your time back home and your most memorable moments, it’s been so long since you’ve visited for more than a short trip. Your goal is to earn 100 paper snowflakes from your experiences, so try to be present, find comfort, pleasure, and togetherness on this hygge holiday. What you need to play: A journal and a pen 1 d20 and 1 d6 dice (you can also use a random number generator) Cozy things (warm drinks, comfy clothes, blankets, snacks, pillows, soft ambient lighting and cozy low-fi music). I am planning on spending sometime in the Nordic countries in the next two years, so this was a great way for me to do some research.
