Alone Creating a Fantasy World

This is a creative journaling game designed for solo play, but equally possible for group play. It is based on Takuma Okada's amazing Alone Among the Stars. To play, you will need a pack of standard playing cards, a six-sided die, and something to write in. I designed Alone Creating a Fantasy World as a tool to help GMs and gaming groups come up with new hooks and new ideas about the world their characters inhabit. In that way, it is a thought starter and a writing aid, in addition to being a simple journaling game. The file includes an example of play where I drew six cards and added some detail to an island in my homebrew setting. Alone Creating a Fantasy World works by itself or with any fantasy roleplaying game.
