The traveller who swears they saw a dragon asking for directions, the merchant who's convinced someone's buying broken swords for a fortune, the hunter who won't explain why they burned every trap they owned. Some rumours are true, some are wildly exaggerated, some are complete nonsense, and some are just convincing enough to send a party chasing trouble.
