They are closer than ever before: with the aid of their grotesque machinery, they have seized control of our once-beautiful moon. From there, they pour into the firmament, the labyrinth we built to entrap any creature that might try to enter. But the humans are too numerous, and too determined. They want nothing more than to pillage heaven in hopes that it will help them persist on an earth already ravaged beyond recognition. Stop them, lest they ruin heaven like they've ruined earth. Descend through the labyrinth to the moon and destroy them. All of creation is at risk. The Firmament is a tarot-based roleplaying game for one to two sessions of 2-3 hours each, solo or with up to 7 players, inspired by ancient Near Eastern cosmology and Kabbalah. This demo version includes a 70-page art-packed zine and accompanying handouts. Inside you'll find the core rules for play, 2 characters, 10 major arcana powers, 2 tarot spreads, and 4 factions of terrible humans. It also includes a playingcards.io file for online play.
