What it is about

A thousand and five hundred years ago, the sun was taken from us. Now, the land is wretched, cursed, and yet so generous. Gold, the color of honey, and the rest of us, flies for the tyrants that weave as spiders do. The whole wide world knows better than to enter the enclave that is now the Ashen Kingdoms. For change is our nature, and never for the better. A Gothic Vampire Fantasy for Ironsworn Ivresang is a ruthless, dark fantasy tabletop role-playing supplement for the game Ironsworn by Shawn Tomkin. It will allow you to spin dreadful tales of horror, speak of the beast within, and make grand displays of humanity lost and found. This Demo Features... 60+ gorgeous pages of content, including... A brand-new DELVE COMPATIBLE sheet and print-friendly playmats, New Vampyr-exclusive moves , and hunger, a new condition in three stages, Terrifying addenda to Endure Harm, Endure Stress and Face Death, A new type of asset, the Kin Asset, establishing if you are Human or Vampyr, 10 new additional Ivresang assets total to make your own unique character, ...As well as a list of features to expect in the finished project and more! Premise Ivresang takes place in a region of the world where the sun no longer shines, obscured by dark, cursebound clouds. Because of this, many vampires (written vampyrs in-game) see it as their promised land—people of all sort all constantly flood in at the promise of riches and the supernaturally abundant resources of the region, in spite of the constant territorial wars, and the magical horrors within. Shadows are ever present, festering in every corner, every court, every village, every house, and every soul. Those who are in power can only stay in power through unspeakable means of violence, and when the wheel turns for them, it always crashes, but never breaks. The millennial tradition of the Ashen Vow allows co-existence of man and vampyr, but never peace. These oaths, originally used as punctual means of non aggression between the opposed kin—and a form of currency of favors for the long-lived souls of the region—have since evolved as all-encompassing promises, defining short-term chores as well as life-long ambitions. In Ivresang , you are Ashen . You are man or vampyr. You are denizen of the Ashen Kingdoms.
