What it is about

The Independent is a solo, one page roleplaying game where you step into the shoes of a presidential candidate running without a party. No donors. No machine. Just your voice and the will to be heard. Over ten weeks of gameplay, you’ll roll through unpredictable campaign events, hopeful highs, crushing setbacks, and moral dilemmas pulled from the headlines of the last twenty years. Each moment is a journal prompt, a chance to shape your version of the underdog candidate trying to change a system that wasn’t built for them. You’ll track votes, record speeches, and make impossible choices. This isn’t about victory, it’s about what you’re willing to risk to be heard at all. Write your campaign. Fight the odds. See what happens when one voice refuses to fall in line. What others are saying: "Let me tell you folks, this is the greatest game ever made, maybe in the history of games. People are saying it. Tremendous graphics, huge action, incredible mechanics, nobody’s ever seen anything like it. I’ve played a lot of games, the best games, and this one? It's a total WINNER. Very smart. Very classy. The competition? Total disaster compared to this. Believe me. Everybody’s playing it, everybody’s loving it. And I don’t blame them—it’s just that good. 10 out of 10, very fair, very strong. Make gaming great again!" -Orange Man
