The Dreambird

A solo journaling game based off the Wretched and Alone system by Chris Bissette. You will play as the Bargainer; someone who wanted more out of life and would do whatever it took to get it. Including a deal with a dark god. At this point, the deal has been made and the promised lifestyle granted long ago. However, the time to fulfill their end of the deal is coming, and the Bargainer has no interest in paying. This is a fantasy game that has tragic romance leanings. It also includes references to subject matter that may be discomforting (kidnapping/trafficking, forced drug use, abuse in general). Note: AI has been used in this project, but only in the generation of images for the cover art and thumbnail. All writing and design was done by me, accursedmaiden, using the Wretched and Alone system created by Chris Bissette. Background image by Vesta Rugilė Nausėdaitė on Unsplash.
