What it is about
Signs of the Times is an explosive, eclectic RPG for 1 to 4 people that will have you questioning what it means to “believe” when your back is against the wall. You play as a starving psychic trying to scrape by and stand out in a post-apocalyptic America riddled with political, environmental, and magical hazards. Travel to the opposite end of the continent on a Hail-Mary pilgrimage from your deity, avoid the attention of the Chosen Few, and keep your illegal literacy a secret while you try to parse the many signs, both physical and otherwise, directing your road trip. If you are lucky, you may end up more powerful than Christ himself, but you will have to fend off every last magical creature, megalomaniacal civil servant, and mutinous follower before that happens. Will you manage to spin a myth strong enough to change the course of history and make it to Paradise on this easy-to-learn adventure? Or will you become another victim of the Chosen Few’s neofeudal wasteland, unknown and forgotten to time? This game includes trigger warnings for thematic references to oppression, political and religious control, violence, isolation, mental illness, spirituality, unreality, and delusion. “So it’s a book of pictures, largely, with statements, but a book of pictures.” - US "President" Donald J. Trump “The so-called ‘game' entitled Signs of the Times is absolutely vile, brainwashing, perverted, demonic slop the likes of which hasn’t been seen in this great nation since the Reagan administration. For Christ’s sake: bring back biblical stoning.” - Someone’s Pastor, probably Purchase/Download Includes: 132-page digital gamebook, including rules for solo and group play, a premade game map, and Tarot Card Association Chart (Low Ink Options Available) Premade sheets for 10 unique player characters, formatted for both solo and group play A digital Book of Signs containing 77 unique road sign prompts to use in-game A servitor spirit that is impossible to see or sense, but will be there for moral support in case you lose You Will Need: A d4 or pen/pencil to make a makeshift spinner A tarot deck that you can pull single cards from, either physical or online A notebook or a computer to record sessions A little bit of creativity and whimsy (store-bought works fine) If you can afford to purchase a copy, it means the world- just know you are supporting a disabled creative in living, instead of being forced to barely survive.
