Rust and Revenue is a compact solo roll-and-write game inspired by classic 18XX railroad and economic games. Using four dice, a pencil, and a single printed sheet, players invest in railroads, build track, buy shares, and manage the relentless rusting of trains. Each turn, dice rolls determine available actions, forcing tough strategic choices about company expansion, share valuation, and route development. The game distills the tension and depth of larger railroad games into a streamlined solitaire experience, providing meaningful decision-making and replayability in under an hour.
