What it is about
Dungeon Waltz is a solo fantasy TTRPG dungeon crawler where players grow in both strength and fame as they tackle endless dungeons that appear just as mysteriously as new adventurers do. Players take the role of one such adventurer, brought to the world Corune through death and rebirth. Given little guidance or attention, as what led to their appearance is such a common occurrence that they're treated little more than animals. With little recourse of making a living alongside the native and unnatural inhabitants of this world, embarking and conquering the dungeons littered throughout seems the only option to put food on the table, and a roof over your head. As you become more familiar with the dungeons, you'll grow stronger in the form of upgrades, power that comes from destroying dungeon cores, and rise in adventurer rank, getting those who ignored you give second, and maybe even third glances. What's inside the Core Rules PDF? • Mechanical loop of exploring the services the city of Rodan has to offer, and exploring new dungeons where you'll discover events, dangerous creatures, and treasures as you map them out. • 50+ other tables to be used in the above loop. • 10 d66 or d100 Oracles for a full solo, GM-less experience. Also includes a Yes/No Oracle. • The Grid Board system, where finite upgrades can be placed, upgraded, ranked up, and customized to create unique characters. • Dice based weapons, that can be imbued with extra Attack Dice for added damage rolls. • The Character Sheet, Grid Board, and a folder of each separate table included in the downloads (and in the book). The last section also includes an index of tables . • 50 enemies and 12 Known Wandering Bosses , all designed and exquisitely drawn by Michael Galefire. • Boss Generation, so no two bosses will likely be the same. These act as the final roadblock to clearing a dungeon and gaining more power. We hope you enjoy your stay, and that fortune finds you wherever it may be found.
