The Candles in Rome

You are a vampire living in the heart of an urban center. You are the sole survivor of an attack that resulted in the deaths of your coven members. Will you survive and destroy your enemy? Or will you crumble into dust, the end of your story left unwritten? TW: grief; found family death The Candles in Rome is a solo journaling RPG that takes you across the world map. You will roll dice and draw cards providing the prompts for where you go, who you meet and what you find, but you provide the context as you craft journal entries. This is a complete game, but edits may be made for clarity or grammar if mistakes are found. I built this in two days out of boredom and I've been watching far too much vampire media in recent months. Graphic design done by myself utilizing Canva assets and public domain art from the Chicago Museum of Art.
