Wordslayer

You are the Wordslayer. At the end of every chapter you hunt down the monster stalking these pages. Will you defeat the vampire adjective or will it come back even stronger at the end of the next chapter? Will you survive the troll noun with its 4 vowels? Wordslayer is a bookmark-sized solo RPG and can be played as short interludes while reading. Format: micro solo TTRPG Playtime: A couple of minutes What you need: - D4, D6, D8, D10, D12 (preferably two of each, but one also does the job) - a way to record wounds (you could just keep score in the back of the book) - a book with chapters This game scales differently depending on the language of your book: - Normal mode: English. - If you want to make the troll a little stronger: Play it reading a Spanish book. - If you want to make the ghost completely OP: Play it reading a Polish book. - If you want to make the whole thing way more difficult: Play it reading a book in te reo Māori (I am looking at you takataapui ) - If you want to make the troll a god and your life an absolute hell: Play it reading a German book.
