What it is about
PIECE YOUR WAY OUT The world you know is not real; you are trapped in an alternate dimension. Don't worry, I will help you out. This ritual will let you build a vessel to take you out of the second dimension, if you succeed. You need one 52-card deck of playing cards, two dice, the ship template of any color you like, and the class sheet. Follow my instructions carefully, and let's hope for the best. You're welcome. The system is fairly straightforward: You need to build a vessel to escape. You do this with pieces that you draw by connecting the dots in the ship sheet. Your deck is your piece scanner (3 jokers and all cards from A—10). Roll two d6 to determine how many cards to draw (the sum) and how many to keep (the lower value die). You may reroll one die, ONCE. If you draw a Joker, set it aside. Ex: Roll 3 + 4. Draw 7 cards, keep 3 + any joker. Continue rolling and drawing cards until you are satisfied or until you draw two jokers, in which case, you lose all pieces for that day (mark one box in the day counter) and start the next day. If you stopped before drawing two Jokers, each pair of the same value from the cards you collected is ONE piece you may draw on the ship sheet, starting from the head, then continuing with the body, and lastly the tail. If you manage to complete the piece requirement for each part (head, body, tail) before your days run out, you've completed your assignment. Congratulations.
