*Familiarity with Koi-Koi rules is assumed and a Hanafuda deck is needed to play. Journey to Fuji This game is a solo variant of the popular Japanese card game Koi-Koi. It is meant to be a relaxing and contemplative exercise it has additional rules for added difficulty.Players take on the role of a traveler whose destination is the summit of Mount Fuji. They will journey from lake to lake as they progress toward the summit. Each lake holds a victory condition to attain in order to move forward. Additionally. each lake has a guardian animal whose poison presents an added challenge to avoid. The journey up Mount Fuji is one that will reward skilled Koi-Koi players and bring a deep and thoughtful experience to all. I hope you enjoy this homebrew on one of my favorite card games.
