What it is about

SPACE BOUNTY v 1.6 DEMO NOW AVAILABLE!!! TEN TARGETS. ONE HUNTER. Space Bounty is a solo game like Elite Dangerous. You will undertake missions of delivery, sabotage, rescue, & bounties. You’ll earn credits to buy new ships, new weapons & upgrades, fuel & repairs to keep flying & bring down the Top Ten Bounties of the galaxy. Your systems are Weapons (W), Engines (E), & Crew (C). Your ship will be replaced & upgraded. You’ll recruit new crew & venture deep within the galaxy to engage in space battles against the notorious ten. You’ll need a pencil, this zine & a set of dice. Game is to be played in sessions. Your ship hub keeps track of everything. You win the game by destroying all ten bounties & having enough credits to retire on your own moon. You lose when your hull hits zero, no more ship, which means no more you, GAME OVER! Unless you have an escape pod. Do you have enough credits for a new ship? If not, GAME OVER! Includes two versions, the small portable version & a single page format pdf version for playing on tablets & devices or just to print bigger. How to fold the Zine: https://youtu.be/T2w9FbfdWH8 PLEASE LEAVE A COMMENT! I don’t usually post reviews, but ‘Space Bounty’ by Tony Fairbanks is a fantastically tight little game that packs a tonne of adventure into a small, easy-to-run format. You play a bounty hunter climbing the ranks by taking on various missions and escalating targets across the galaxy. The core system is extremely compact and straightforward (roll, resolve, deal with the consequences) but it creates real sense of tension and momentum. You start with a modest ship and slowly upgrade your weapons, crew, and hull while hunting down the ‘Top Ten’ bounties. Combat is quick and risky, travel is unpredictable, and every session creates its own story. If you like compact dice-driven space drama with meaningful upgrades and replay value, this is a must-have - well done Tony!!
