What it is about
LET YOUR ROLLS TELL YOUR STORY I love to chronicle the sessions I play! And if you're like me, the most disappointing part is when you might miss something because you're buried deep in writing what's happening. A Dicey Story is here to help! Structured around the rolls you, or your fellow players make, this printable tool is designed to make journaling your session easy, quick, and fun! • Designed to be system agnostic so that you can enjoy chronicling your story with any dice system. Note down what dice and how many your roll, as well as the result. • Open dot-grid system for maximum creative space. Write, or draw, to your heart's content. Organise your story in whichever way you want! • Don't miss out on the fun. Structured around dice rolls will lessen your time writing and increase your time enjoying the session! • Use different colors to track players. THE BACKSTORY I while back, I participated in an online playtest of an upcoming game called Starfall, by Ray Chou. I had decided to use Google dice as I didn't have my polyhedrals on hand. When the game ended, I noticed that I had not deleted my rolls during the game and was left with every dice roll I did in the session in a neat grid pattern. I decided to export it and doodle some notes on them. In the end, I had a complete log of the session from my player's perspective. I thought it was a fun and creative experience and wanted to share it with y'all. Hope you enjoy it! SHARE YOUR STORY Having fun journaling with A Dicey Story?
