What it is about
This game is currently published in a mostly-finished state; the editing pass has not yet been finalized, but it is expected that few, if any, changes will be made from this version. This is a worldbuilding game of the stories we tell about ourselves - who we are, and what our place and purpose is in the world. Historically, many people have told these stories by using the stars: constellations created and mapped to a cultural figure, an aspect of nature, or the like. This game invites you to draw contellations in a night sky, and imagine the stories a wholly different group might tell, a group that grew up under different stars than ourselves: perhaps a weary knight and their squire the day before they face the dragon - perhaps a starship mechanic and their pilot on the third world they have visited so far this month - perhaps a group of early humans, waiting out the night while travelling. You will be able to, by yourself or with a group of friends (in person or online), create a starscape and take turns drawing connections and naming constellations. Premade maps will be provided to aid in online play as soon as I am able to make some and scan them in - but in the meantime, the pages of the Printer Antagonistic version (seriously, I'd recommend not wasting half an ink cartridge by printing it) are examples of the type of star-map this game guides you to make.
