SALTWATER PROPHECY

WHO ARE YOU WITHOUT THE CARDS? Mile by mile, you comb the beach, searching for the missing. You were once the celebrated local Seer, until you saw something in the Cards and, in a fit of rage or despair or fear, threw your Deck into the ocean. Ever since, the waters have churned. The ocean threatens the coastal settlements with false tsunamis that rise and disappear. Sailors complain about this uncanny, unpredictable sea. Only you know why. The drowned Cards are not happy. What is it: A solo drawing game run on a tarot deck. A downloadable 32 pg PDF of game rules, with examples and prompts for all the cards. Also a minimal version of the same file, print-friendly  format, with the images removed. What you need: -your favorite tarot deck -blank index cards (around a dozen) -drawing tools (or collage materials, if you don't feel like drawing!) -polyhedral dice (d6, d12, d100) What you'll do: Create custom tarot card designs, roll dice, gain points, attempt to placate the Sea God... Created for "Back in the Shell" Game Jam using Crafted in the Shell SRD by Innocent Goblin . 10/13/26  Update I've uploaded a print-at-home booklet version of the game. It's 8 pages, double-sided, on US letter size paper.  Once the pages are stacked, staple the spine together, and you're ready to go.
