White Box: FMAG Solo Tools & Oracle Tables Generate dungeons, answer questions, and explore the unknown - No GM required! Background/Goals This "supplement" is designed to be a compact toolkit for helping players Solo Whitebox: FMAG. I love the simplicity of WBFMAG, but found myself constantly reaching for other tools and books for hex crawling and generating dungeons. I was pulling ideas from 4 or 5 different books and had all sorts of paper cheatsheets printed out, that only cluttered up my kitchen table and slowed down my progress. So, for my own sanity I began to combine all these disparate rules and tables into one printer-friendly booklet. I tried my best to stick to the simplicity of WBFMAG, while adding enough depth to inspire player interpretation/improv. All tables are designed around d6s or d20s so no additional dice are needed for play. What's actually in the book? Enough yapping, here's what you'll find inside: A simple yes/no oracle with a "story turns" mechanic inspired by Mythic. a d6/6 "meaning" table Simple Hexcrawl rules and procedures Tables for generating Hexes, Settlements, and weather Tables f or generating random dungeons Tables for generating Characters/NPCS A simple "Quest Generator" for helping determine a character's goals, or what your party should be doing! Compatibility Obviously intended for use with White Box: FMAG, but it should work with just about any OSR-Style game to fill in the gaps (stuck doors, etc). Format/Product Details Available in "Digital edition" and "booklet" Booklet is designed to be printed on letter-sized paper, double-sided flip on short edge. Pages are out of of order digitally, but can be easily folded into a booklet when printed. License/Use Share, edit, remix, transform, integrate to your heart’s desire. Just don’t re-release this work and charge money for it.
