Creature Ex Machina

There is a creature inside the machine, it is yours, you must take responsibility for it. You cannot truly touch it, or hold it, or feel it’s warmth. There is a world inside the machine that you cannot exist in but that is where the creature exists. Does this compel you to continue your care? Does the sense of person-hood you may grant the creature make you feel as if you need to care for it? If so, continue on, and join others in caring. Creature Ex Machina is a solo journaling game where you take care of an ephemeral pet. The game will end when your pet dies, though you can start another game with a new pet at any time. This game is meant to be played indefinitely.
