The Alt Angel Agency (Playtest Version)

The Alt Angel Agency is a solo TTRPG about having your soul crushed by a heavenly corporation while working as a demon hunter. It is an action-horror game where you where you investigate anomalous activities, track down hellish beasts, and ultimately fight and exorcise them. You are a Saint. A Saint-in-Service, to be exact. A damned soul paying your celestial debt by harvesting 999 evil souls as a canonized employee of the Angel Agency — the heavenly organization responsible for ensuring that humankind remains eternally faithful . You hunt Blights, h unger and voracious hellish beasts who seek out broken humans, nurturing sins and tragedies to extract and consume human Faith. A Hunt is the structure that guides each session of The Alt Angel Agency. It encompasses phases called Rites and Liturgies, which offer procedures and instructions for effectively carrying out each step of your work as a Saint. This structure streamlines the game, creating an episodic flow where each session introduces a thrilling investigation and concludes in a tense confrontation against the Blights you are assigned to hunt. The Alt Angel Agency employee handbook includes: A single-player RPG game that utilizes a 2d6 + modifier resolution mechanic intertwined with a resource management system, making the tactical use of miraculous powers and character stress  a core part of the gameplay. Tables for generating random events, encounters, enemies, clues and reactions during investigation or combat. An episodic game structure, designed to streamline and ensure the flow of each session. Four types of playable characters and six types of Blights, each with their dedicated chapter containing tables for generating their lairs, appearances and actions during combat. Neatly designed documents to assist in the organization and management of characters, hunts, and journaling. Several original illustrations distributed throughout the handbook's 100+ pages. This version of The Alt Angel Agency is still a work in progress. While most of the rules, layout, and art are very close to their final versions, some changes may still be made.
