What it is about

When characters explore a wrecked ship, they may discover all kinds of things; those here may be comparatively normal, strange or downright odd. Most of the results assume the shipwreck is at least partly on the surface, and should it be completely submerged, some of the results may need altering to reflect that and others will not be usable. This PDF supports Adobe layers and the page backgrounds and images can be disabled to make printing easier. Here are some sample results: Resting on the main deck of the ship is an enormous shell that looks to be that of a clam, only several feet in diameter (confirmed with a DC 8 Knowledge (nature) check). The inside of the shell has been cleaned of any meat. Rowers still sit at their benches, though they are now all dead. They couldn't leave after the wreck as they are manacled in place (some of the dead may have become noncorporeal undead, such as ghosts). Sails cover the deck of the ship. By how they have been positioned, and how things have been placed beneath the sails to keep them up from the deck, this appears (DC 8 Perception check) to be deliberate. Scattered across the main deck are several iron-bound chests that have all been smashed open and are now empty. A few scattered gold coins (2d4+2 gp) hint at the treasure they once contained. Scratching sounds are coming from what look like pigeon cages, where it seems the pigeons have surprisingly survived. However, inspecting the cages reveal the occupants have all been dead for some time, although they are now undead (though undead, the pigeons are harmless). One page is the front cover, one the front matter, one is ads and one the Open Game License. The supplement is also available in the following versions: 5E and system neutral.
