Are you ready to uncover the secrets of GRIMLORE? A word from the author: I created this game because I was looking for a fun and challenging solo RPG experience. I have played a lot of those since before Covid, but especially during Covid, using Tabletop-Simulator or just good old pen & paper. None of these games would give me a full rogue-like solo RPG experience, though. The systems were either too simple or too complex for my taste. So, I decided to create my own game. In late 2023 I started creating GRIMLORE as a "GM-less RPG-in-a-box" boardgame, and quickly realised that I could also condense all of the game parts into a table-based RPG book, which is great for quick solo sessions (but not limitetd to those). And you are now looking at the result of my work. I am not a professional publisher, and this is the first game I release to the public, so please expect there to be some rough edges. I am looking forward to creative criticism and will implement your feedback as soon as I can. This is everything that you need to play GRIMLORE, and I will not publish dozens of expansions. I only plan to publish several campaign expansions, which are multiple-choice adventures based on unique content from the GRIMLORE setting. There is also a free Tabletop-Simulator module on the Steam-Workshop, which includes all of the game parts that make up the board game, so feel free to use that when playing GRIMLORE.
