What it is about
The Town of Copperhead Creek
The town lies at the base of the Rockies. A boom town still in the middle of its success. People coming and going. Native tribes live nearby and in the hills and mountains. A Calvary Fort is east of the town. A train station stops just south outside of town en route to Denver. Famous people often pass through on the way to other cities and towns. So do the criminal elements. All sorts of people live within the town's limits, every race, origin, lifestyle, and occupation. Copperhead Creek is actually a thin river coming out of the mountains and rests just outside of the town's limits.
If you want to make the town a typical Western town, nothing in the cards needs to be changed. If you want to make it a "Weird West" type environment please do. Land Barons could be vampires. Mountain men could be werewolves. Widows could be witches or sorceresses. Gunslingers could be walking dead. Gender and race have no bias; anyone can have a profession called for in the cards. Change as needed. Ultimately, it's up to you. This is a solo adventure, but you can pull your friends in to enjoy a night of fun.
If you like the Dead Lands world of Savage Worlds from Pinnacle Entertainment, this is a perfect aid for playing their RPG.
Last Stand at Copperhead Creek
In this product, you can chose who you are in two ways:
1. Are you a Native, Tenderfoot, Cowpoke, Gunslinger, or Sheriff? Male? Female? Are you wanting to start a new life after the war? Hunting? Striking a claim for land or mining? A high-stakes Gambler?
2. Choose Your Role: Are you who you appear to be? Or are you wanting to change your life in a new town? An outlaw on the run? Do you have a purpose as well as a profession in this new land? Any bad habits? A risk taker or risk avoider?
You use this two choices to write your story as an observer or active participant.
As a writer, gamer, and game creator, I like to help other like-minded individuals create their worlds. You may use this solo game as an aid to your writing or ideas for your own game. If you are an introvert, stuck at home with a sick day, a fan fiction writer, or just want to try something new, this is your solo adventure.
There is endless replayability and the only limits are your imagination.
Tools you'll need: A Deck of Standard Playing Cards with Jokers and something to record your choices. Paper or a word processing program.
Begin your adventure and create your worlds!
