You’ve known him since childhood when he first taught you the art of magic. Though you’ve grown older, he remains unchanged—forever ancient in your eyes. “I bring grave news,” he says, his voice trembling slightly. “Dark forces have invaded Fangfawn Forest to the north. A rift has opened into the shadow realm, releasing Balor, a demon of terrible power. He’s already begun corrupting the land.” He thrusts a map into your hands with urgency, his usually composed manner cracking under the weight of the news. “You’ve always been my most trusted ally. I need you to stop this evil before it spreads.”
