Cities are the heart of civilization. A gathering of minds, cultures, individuals, and all kinds of faces from all over the world. A city in D&D is equal to a major adventuring hub, where you can find ample opportunity to explore and quest. From the littlest beggar down the street to the powerful lord fattening on his citadel. Cities vary a lot in size and population, and for a medieval-setting, you can expect major cities to have a population of around 50,000 people, but hey! This is your world, so don’t be afraid to create gigantic centers of over a million (Constantinople reached almost half of that!) citizens with diverse cultures and identities. This list contains exactly 100 different random events that you can throw at your players to see chaos, —or fun— in their adventures!
