What it is about

Scattered across desolate plains, buried within ancient jungles, or looming silently over coastal cliffs, monolithic statues are remnants of forgotten civilizations, unknown gods, and long-dead empires. Their presence is imposing, often unsettling, each carved with purpose—though that purpose may now be obscured by time. Dungeon Masters and players can use these statues to add depth, mystery, or eerie grandeur to any encounter or landscape. Whether as the centerpiece of a ritual site, the silent guardian of a dungeon entrance, or a curious relic whispered about in local legend, monolithic statues can provoke questions, provide clues, or simply unnerve. Each statue listed below is unique in appearance and possible implication. Roll a D100 or choose one that inspires you. Nothing binds you to a single result. Re-roll, combine entries, or tailor the detail to suit your story. Let your imagination chisel the final form.
