What it is about
Hello friend, This is my entry for the Folklore Jam 2026 , and, after lots of rework, it's a mix between a solo journaling game and a brief paper on Alpine folklore. A word before you climb: this my first solo journaling game, and the ink is still wet. If you write in them, write back to me as well, and tell me which table told you the truth and which one lied, where the years leapt too far and where they would slug behind. Every feedback becomes part of the legend. Between one village and the next, the old Alps were never empty. In the woods above the pastures lived something shaped like an hairy man, and every valley gave him a name of its own: Salvanel, Homo Salvadego, Om Pelous ... Matteo Boiardo wrote about him in 1483, but the legend of the wildman of the Alps is way older, older than Francs, Catars and Romans. Now his brothers are gone, only one remains, alone against everything that moves across his mountains. You are that one, and you keep his annals: a notebook, a pen, a couple of dices are all you need to trail his life. Write each entry by hand, season after season, while the centuries turn below you. Be as patient as mountains and do not erase.
