What it is about
Every night you climb one hundred and twelve steps and light the lamp. Every night the dark comes a little closer. The Lamp at Gullsend is a solo journaling game for a standard deck of playing cards and a single six-sided die. You are the keeper of a lighthouse on a black rock at the edge of the charted sea. The relief boat is late, the oil is running low, and something beneath the water has started to notice the light. Each day you roll for the weather and draw a card. Each card is a prompt: memories that surface with the tide, gifts and wreckage from the sea, the endless work of keeping the light, and the strange things that come out of the fog. Write as much or as little as you like. Three endings: the relief boat arrives, the lamp goes dark, or the Deep comes to collect you.
